ISRO Launched EMISAT having Intelligence and 28 other Nano Satellites
It is a proud moment for the Country that today ISRO successfully launched the intellegent satellite EMISAT and 28 numbers of international customer satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR in Sriharikota by using India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C45). EMISAT is a satellite weighing about 436 kg and it is intended for electromagnetic spectrum measurement. Again the 28 international customer satellites are from four countries, namely, Lithuania (2), Spain (1), Switzerland (1) and USA (24) were launched as part of commercial arrangement of the mission. This EMISAT is a new variant of electronic intelligent satellite for Defense Research Development Organization (DRDO).
