It is a proud moment for the Country that today ISRO successfully launched the intellegent satellite EMISAT and 28 numbers of international customer satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR
in Sriharikota by using India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C45). EMISAT
is a satellite weighing about 436 kg and it is intended for electromagnetic
spectrum measurement. Again the 28 international customer satellites are from
four countries, namely, Lithuania (2), Spain (1), Switzerland (1) and USA (24)
were launched as part of commercial arrangement of the mission. This EMISAT is
a new variant of electronic intelligent satellite for Defense Research
Development Organization (DRDO). Actually EMISAT stands for Electromagnetic
Spectrum Measurement and it is based on the famous Israeli Spy Satellite called
SARAL means Satellite with Argos and ALtika. This satellite will serve the
country as a revolving spy in the space for detecting and gathering electronic
intelligence from enemy radars across the borders. This four stage PSLV was today launched at
